Omega and the Olympics Rio 2016
So Omega is the official timekeeper for the Olympics and it's a key role that they are playing there. Now swimming happens to be one of the sports that Singaporeans are interested in as we have our first Olympic Gold through a 100m 'float like a butterfly, stings like a bee' champion, Joseph Schooling. To celebrate OMEGA's role as Official Timekeeper at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the Swiss watchmaker has created a NATO bracelet reminiscent of a running track. Using blue nylon with white stitching to create the impression of lanes, the sporty fabric strap also features a loop ring engraved with lane numbers. The buckle and loop rings are made of stainless steel. The strap retails at OMEGA Boutiques at S$275.
