Antiquorum Upcoming Auction on 27 & 28 Jun 2015 ... Some Really Nice Pieces

Antiquorum has a number of auctions through the year (check out some past and the upcoming one here LINK) and the upcoming one in Jun... is a biggie! 700+ lots over 2 days happening in HK on the 27 and 28 Jun 2015, check out the catalog and register to bid if you see something that you be keen on LINK There are a number of pieces I wish i had the $$$ to acquire but for now, just taking pix will do and warms the cockles of my watch loving heart ;) in this post is some watches I wish i had in my watch box and some blingy ones which aren't for me but are here to show some of the interesting pieces(and some of them may have very interesting stories to tell) that are coming up. Let's check em out :)

First up, is the watch that i have loved for some time... From the design genius  Jean-François Ruchonnet and watchmakers, Vianney Halter and Eric Coudray, a wonderful vertical winch tourbillon in titanium pvd case. Lot 520 Cabestan [Estimate USD 100,000 - 150,000]

Cabestan Swiss Watch Manufacture today has a new CEO and owner, Lionel Betoux. Furthermore, the watch will be serviced completely by Cabestan and given a two year warranty, as well as customized for its new owner. Very Nice!

a wonderful looking piece to me and with a number of interesting variants pout there. the black and red is a great combo but with the choice of changing it up, this looks to be a cool purchase

next up 2 oldies but goodies :) Patek 5970 and 5070... First up the 5970R... I love this watch... Extremely fine, rare and very unusual, tonneau shaped and curved, self-winding, water resistant to 50 m, DLC-coated titanium wristwatch with square button fly-back chronograph, registers, annual calendar, oversized date display and a titanium Richard Mille double deployant clasp. 41 x 50 mm. and next to it's current iteration... it shows why i love the latest 15202 so much. staying very true to the original but little refinements and updates that let it be a great current evolution of this piece. they gave a lot of attention to the details in the update. both with a 39mm width

next up we have 3 blingy Pateks... diamonds and gems and precious stones... and one is the shiniest brightest of the lot...
