A Watch Wonderland In Singapore Suntec City ... A Time For Curated Horology
I had meant to do a writeup sooner but have been busier of late and this is the Chinese New Year period too :) Gong Xi Fa Cai and Happy Chinese New year to all Chinese readers out there. Ok on to it then! Watch Wonderland [ https://wonderland.watch/ | https://www.facebook.com/wtchwndrlnd/ | https://www.instagram.com/watch.wonderland/ ]
and the back is cute :)
Welcome to Watch Wonderland! :)
they will work with the brands they carry to come up with limited edition (LE) tie-ups with
them so there may be more interesting pieces to check out in future
hmm what's on show you ask? et voila
i'll just share on the watches as i saw them (more or less) so first up is the gruppo gamma
It looks slightly similar to another brand out there
some pretty pieces though... these LEs are cool
colors are good
next up... VENTUS! i liked them enough to buy them. nice designs from the makers of zelos
Interestingly enough, they carry select Seikos too. specifically some of the ones that I like :) i love a good turtle
Seiko is milking the reissues and it's great to have the old designs refreshed... just wish it wasn't at such high prices
i mean some even cost an arm and a leg ;)
up next are 2 brands that i had not seen before... orodeus which is a Singapore micro brand
and CLVII who came up with these skull head watches that look like high end speakers aeroskull from jarre technologies.. google it
they also got vintage, retro style watches there. some are pretty cool. that zelda watch is too cool :) but longevity is a question mark for that one
new old stock (nos) record watches... very nice retro styles
other than cool decor things going on...
they've got timing machines and nice large tables for courses that they offer the watch loving public. leather strap making and watch making. checkout their facebook page (link at the start of this post) for dates
last pix of the space.. oh and what's that over at the back
the electricianz... designed by studio divine, same folks who designed the 7 friday pieces... this reminded me of another timepiece and i just realised what it is... the sevenfriday q series with the time counter on one side
that's it for now and i will definitely be dropping by watch wonderland again and will be doing 1 or both courses in time. say hi if you spot me there :) ciao
