Part Quatre: Gyrotourbillon II talk

the question on everyones mind is not only 'can we get a gyro 2 as a doorgift' but could we get to stroke and fondle the gyro 2... sadly it was not to be on both counts ;)

but the talk was really highly informative. I got to hear more about the reverso which is a favorite line of many for JLC, me included, and to learn more about what it took to develop the Gyro 2... (this watch is amazing and deserves a post by itself that will come later)

eddie, dirk, jeff, myself and jaw catching up before the talk
Photobucket

Jaw and Stephane, our speakers for the day and Xavier introducing them

Photobucket

rapt attention from the attendees in the morning... hmm Stefano looks a little
tired though ;) but he showed he was paying attention during q&a

Photobucket

the path of the spherical tourbillon in the gyro 2... its an amazing ballet

Photobucket

aluminium for the parts of the gyro 2 cage...
making it super lightweight at 0.34 gms for the tourbillon cage...

Photobucket

extreme ways are back again... extreme worlds on george and my wrist
the alarm and the chrono...

Photobucket

print out the next couple of images and do a flipbook

Hey Raph, I was sleepy, but I'm glad I was able to answer some questions.

It was great of JLC to organize such a great event (courses, talks).

Thanks for your great report!

Stefano
